So why do some guys like to use these? For if the welder is routinely left outside in the elements or something? I've used a bobcat a lot and the housing seems to shield it well from the elements as is.. My bobcat does have slight paint fading but no big deal in my eyes since its a welder and not a corvette. But to each his own. Probably wouldn't buy myself for $150 but that's just me. I guess my actually question is does it work well for its intended purpose?
