Chip Friday from Van Horn, Texas asks:
Is the copper wire that makes up this #2 wire cable 8 or 9 pieces of wire (more or less), twisted together like a piece of #2 THHW or the extremely fine, almost hair-like copper wire? What is stamped/printed (every few inches) on the outside of the cable like the fore-mentioned #2 THHW wire? What amperage is it rated at? Does it require special connectors? And lastly, would I buy a 50 foot length, cut it in half and and use the two pieces for my welding lead and my ground wire, if I wanted 25' leads?
