Sean from Rochester NY asks:
In the description of this welding machine it's said that it can weld up to 5/16" steel plate and I am assuming this means welding with flux cored wire. My question is does this machine weld up to a max thickness of 5/16" on a single weld pass or does this mean it can weld steel this thick doing multiple passes? If this welding machine cannot weld up to 5/16" steel on a single weld pass then what is the max steel thickness that the miller 190 can weld on a single weld pass?
