I have an older Millermatic 185 and need to replace the gun. The end that goes into the machine measures close to 2.75 inches total and I can't find one that is that long. I purchased a new one, but it didn't fit all the way in the machine, thinking I wasn't doing something right, I put the old one back in and it slipped right in place.

Can you help?
