I have two guys that do my welding. They say it's the best they have ever used.

As far as quality, price, and ease of ordering I would have given it a 5 star. Since it has not been put into use as of yet I don't know about how it will live up to other reviews? My hope is that it lives up to my expectations. I have an older non auto darkening helmet with # 9 & # 10 lens, but still seems to dark for accurate bead control. Hopefully this solves my issue?

I took a welding class and the lady teacher told me about Cyberweld as a good place to look for a self darkening helmet. This is the first Digital Elite Helmet I have ever owned and I am very happy with the helmet so far. It took a little adjustment on the darkness of the lens but, once I got it dialed in, I was up and going.

I used a non auto darkening helmet for the last 5 years and thought there wouldn't be that big of a difference. The Miller digital elite is a welding game changer for me. Arc strikes are easy to place, and the weld puddle is clear and easy to see, it's pretty comfortable as well. Adjustments to the lens shade and headgear are simple and intuitive.

Worth every penny! Your eyesight is vital don't spend a penny less on the safety of your eyes. Buy this hood you wont be disappointed!

The most comfortable headgear I've ever worn.

After many years welding with all kinds of helmets this is my second auto-adjusting Miller helmet and they have improved greatly over the years. This one is lighter, has a much better head band, sensor and shade adjustments are very easy and it just seems very well designed. I do not use it for grinding, yet that option is available if you are so inclined. While I weld as a hobby only I would recommend this to anyone wanting a good lightweight auto darkening helmet. I would suggest that you don't go cheap when it comes to your eye protection and besides I think this could make you a better welder too.

I have to say this is one of the best helmets for the price I've seen.

Easy to purchase, fast shipping

This is a replacement welding hood, after 3 years of use the headgear needed replacing would not stay tight so I came back to CyberWeld and order another Miller welding helmet, Black Digital Elite, Great hood and best price I found.

Fast delivery, and wonderful to use. After setting up the helmet it is ready to go. I can finally set up to weld. and not lose the starting mark. Just pull the trigger and it changes, release and it returns to normal. The 4 sensors make it very sensitive and reliable. One of the best tool purchases I made this year. I bought the black one, If I need to paint it, I can easily do that to personalize it.

I love this helmet! It's so comfortable compared to other helmets I have used! It is also super lightweight for all day use and has a very large viewing area which is also great!

I love the helmet. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the headgear. Myself like most of my coworkers wear bandannas and the headgear won't fit over the knot. Either my coworkers don't use a bandanna anymore or they've ordered the older style headgear. I just took the lens out of this helmet and put it in my old one.

I have seen a few reviews about the hood not staying up. I had the same problem until I realized if you push the hood up until it "detents" it stays up all day long, and as long as you don't have too much friction on the side nuts, it will drop easily with the head nod. (I had the he 'head nod habit" prior to auto dark lens technology also) hope this helps. Cyberweld is awesome by the way, best prices, fast response, good selection.

I'm a noob learning welder and for the life of me when the helmet is clicked in the up position the helmet keeps falling down when I least expect it. Likely I'm simply shaking my head inadvertently... more than a real welder would do to get it to drop.... but I wonder at the same time. While it's great the headset is "newly re-engineered" this helmet isn't light and better pivot points are required.

Fast shipping! Great helmet! A buddy of mine recently purchaced a matco helmet compared it to my new digital Elite and mine out performs it for half of the price. Cant beat that!

It is difficult to pivot head gear unless it is on your head

I have only had my hood a short time but it seems to be working just fine really like this hood

I've had this helmet a few weeks now and I really like the lens and the control panel. The helmet however leaves some to be desired. My main problem is that when the helmet is flipped up it doesn't stay in the up position. I have to keep pushing it back up, as it falls down into my view when I am trying to set up my work piece prior to welding. The adjust-ability of the headgear is ok, nothing special, but nothing that takes away from the function of the helmet. I just wish the helmet would stay up when I am fooling with stuff on the bench. Maybe I need to do some adjusting, but it sure is annoying.

Very good value for the buck

This is a great product, way better than anything else I've had in the past with an amazing price. It came with three sets of extra protective lenses, and welding sleeves. I bought the black one to personalize myself. When it's time for a new one I will be returning here.

I've used many different helmets over the years but this is the best I've put on my head. Best vision and comfortable. And cyberweld is the best to buy your next product.

Very reasonable price for a helmet with advanced features in the ADF lens. Headgear is very comfortable with a quick adjust feature for depth that is easy to use. The helmet is well balanced and reasonably light and for such a large view area I am accustomed to helmets that weigh a great deal more. I teach welding at a public adult education facility and privately as well and I recommend this helmet for the advanced hobbyist or any other student that is entering a production TIG or MIG welding shop. These increase production over passive shields tremendously and minimize the risk of flash burn to the eye from accidental arc strike in all welding techniques. If you're going to be under the helmet 8 to 10 hours a day you need light weight and good performance to minimize fatigue and this is that helmet package. With the 5 extra inner and outer cover plates and the helmet bag this is a surprisingly good value.

I received a Digital Elite helmet about 3 weeks ago and have used it several times. The helmet works fits great. So far only used it for TIG but I'll try the gas cutting and grinding modes soon. My expectation is it will function great. I would recommend this helmet and Cyberweld to others.

After deciding which automatic helmet I wanted, the search narrowed down to finding the best source. Cyberweld has always been fast and well-priced. Excellent customer service and a very efficient website.

I bought this hood when I got a new job because the shop I used to work at provided these for all employees so I knew it was good. I had a very hard time deciding between this and the Speedglas 9100X. I chose this hood though because I know it is extremely reliable. I love that it has 4 sensors, a 1/20,000 switching speed from light to dark, and the X-mode for when you are in tight spaces. This hood is pretty heavy, but you kind of get used to it. I usually work 10 hour days and the weight does bother me sometimes, but most of the time it doesn't bother me. One thing I hate about this hood though is the front cover you have to take off to replace the cover lens. It's a great idea, but it needs some fine tuning because it is a pain in the butt to take on and put back on. Overall it's a very reliable hood, with decent optics and clarity. I may get a Speedglas somewhere down the line to compare the two.

I am a weekend welder with little experience, just small projects with a buzz box arc welder. This is my first auto darkening welding helmet. Where have I been? What an amazing difference. It auto darkens without a hint of flash, the settings work perfectly, it is incredibly light and very comfortable. However, as others have noted it will not stay in the up position. Very annoying, but not a deal killer for me.

so much better visibility over the HF one

The only auto darkening helmets I have had in the past have been cheep no name stuff. They worked well for what they were, but were good for welding only. I wanted the multiple levels of shading and CyberWeld's sale price and the Miller rebate made it affordable.

Very light and easy to use

I'm not a pro and had a cheap $39 helmet. When this top of the line helmet was on sale for $251 a bargain! The $70 rebate made this decision a no brainer!

I have shopped for quality helmets for the past month. There are a lot that are cheaper, but I value safety and my eyes too much to skimp on quality.

This helmet works great! Got to me fast couldn't be happier! If you need a great helmet this is the one. Well worth the money!

I was using an old flip up lens style hood that was about impossible to see through any more. I upgraded to this Miller helmet and am pleased. It iseasy to use. The adjustable shades are great for any working condition and I can see my work again.

Great helmet at a decent price

So glad I finally decided to put as much into my helmet as I was putting into my welding practice sessions. I take evening classes in welding and was suffering from not seeing the puddle. (I also use a 2.00-2.50 cheater). This helmet gave me a much greater acuity and the final product showed this. The headgear is comfortable beyond anything I'd yet used. The rebate from Miller was returned within two weeks. A very good experience for a novice steamfitter apprentice like me.
