This product has always been a dream of mine and now that I have one, I elated. I cut thin 14 gauge material all the way up to 1/2" plate. I love it.

Had a small issue with a tip that looked used from miller. They called me right away and verified with miller that it was a completely unused product and gave me a small credit for my next purchase as an apology even though it was millers fault. very fast, very professional, and I would recommend them to anyone.

I have used this plasma cutter for steel plate from 16ga to 3/8" and it works great. Very fast, consistent and works continuously without a problem. I have a large compressor and have not had any issues. I really love how it is silent while not in use, unlike older units that have the fan on at all times. I have used this to make custom brackets for my jeep and for friends and it is a marvel.

Cuts like butter.

What can I say other than I will never be without a plasma cutter again. I have only had experience with the Miller plasma cutters, and this one did not disappoint. Cuts 1/8" steel like butter. I like the 110/220 option, and both work great for me. If you don't have a plasma cutter and you need to cut even a few pieces, do yourself a favor and pick this bad boy up!!! The feeling when you cut your first piece is worth the price of admission.

I have owned a Miller 210 for years without a single issue so when looking for a plasma cutter I first was thinking go for a cheaper brand since it wasn't going to be heavy use. But then I considered a time whereas the tool i need for a job was broken, that would not be a good day in the garage. So I settled on the 625 with the shorter torch. I did consider the linger lead but once you see how compact this thing is, moving it to the place of use isn't an issue. Having a heavy duty 220V extension is a good idea which likely you already have for your welder. Cyberweld is great, arrived in 2 business days and was just as described. Setup was seamless, both the air coupler and power lead fit my existing equipment. Next i gave a quick read of the instructions and started cutting. Compared to an old Linde i had used, this thing is ridiculous!! Cuts 5/8" like butter and i cut 3/4" with a bit of slag but if in a pinch it will do it. Buy it and you will not regret it. Go cheap and do complain with what you get.

This thing is phenomenal! It will rip through 1/4 inch steel plate like a hot knife through butter. That is as thick as I've tried so far, but it has absolutely no problem with it, and it will eat it a very steady pace! Put some 16 gauge stuff under it and rip it about as fast as you can pull the torch through it! You will need lots of air, and will need CLEAN AIR. I highly recommend getting a filter for it, as well as running a filter/separator off of your compressor.

The unit works very well, I use my Trailblazer to power the unit and have had nothing but good luck...

I like the auto shut down. Glad i upgraded , cuts 3/4 steel easy.i added the longer lead 20 ft.

If you have access to 230 V DC and compressed air it's time to get rid of that Oxsee acetylene set up. This is one sweet machine. Easy to set up, easy to maintain, cuts clean and cuts where you want it. The Storage box is a bit on the clumsy side. You could use some more refinement in design. Everything fits but it's a really tight squeeze you know if you pick up accessories you are going to curse the lack of interior space. On the plus side it's sure going to protect the equipment while riding in the back of the truck. If you can swing it purchase the torch with the 20 foot cable as it will make your life much easier. Set your helmet auto darkness to 5.

Within an hour of it arriving, I was using it on a restoration project in my garage. Greatly sped up the removal of rusty sheet metal! I recommend you buy extra consumables.

The Miller Spectrum 625 X-TREME Plasma cutter worked perfectly right out of the box. Great addition to the shop. I have retired my acetylene gas cutting torch as a result. I am using a 35 amp 220V single phase as a power source with 125 psi of dry compressed air. It handled cutting a 1/2 inch steel plate with ease. The unit is small in size and portable. I certainly recommend the Miller Spectrum 625 X-TREME for anyone that needs to cut metal.

Unit works well right out of the box,I had no issues with the transport box or the cutter at all. Did what it said it does. The no tool required plug from 110 volt to 220 volt is amazing. I used both plugs and the unit worked on either voltage. This is by far one of the finest plasma cutters money can buy.

Just got it so I can't rate its full performance, but so far the 625 is great. Prompt delivery, worked right out of the box, bought the miller air filter from Cyberweld too but had to go get a regulator & gauge (cheap). However, ground cable is super-skinny, I'm worried we'll damage it so I'm looking for a burlier replacement.

This thing stands up to it all says cuts up to 5/8 but I was cutting 1 inch like butter. I like that it is 110 and 220. Keep it the right amp plug and off it go's. Was worth every penny.

I chose this machine because I knew I would need to use 110v from time to time. I haven't used it on 220v yet but cuts like a charm on 110v (light guage sheet metal) At work I use a thermal dynamics machine and the torch on this Miller feels more heavy duty. I don't have anything bad to say about this machine but I don't have a lot of time on it either. If I had to complain about something it would be the ground. It seems a little cheap but arent they all these days. The Carrying case is huge for such a small item but they still somehow managed to make it difficult to store the cables. Not sure why nobody can seem to come up with a better case. I suppose many will leave the machine on a cart so not a huge deal.

Arrived well packaged and everything was there, including the $250.00 bonus items that were part of the purchase price. Waited about 10 days for my 60 gallon, 5hp Quincy QT-Pro, and hooked that up along with a cooling tower made from 1/2 inch galvanized pipe. Put a Milton filter/regulator at the end of the run near my hose connect. Attached a Miller 5 micron filter on the back of the plasma cutter and a Goodyear 3/8 to 1/4 by 25 foot hose.. Thats the setup, and today 2/13/2015 turned everything on and got the surprise of a lifetime.Cut 10 gauge mild steel like it was butter, used a clamp guide on a 5' X 4' and drag cut the thing in half so fast ( compared to my oxy-acetylene) I truly was amazed. Probably will adjust to the right speed and hold off, was using the drag tip on salvaged metal and it was catching a lot causing bumps in the road. Overall, the cut was clean and and fast. Also did complex free hand cuts and they were raggedy because of speed, hand shake and where the hell did that line go. Real easy setup, practically scary the way it just got up and cut, and the slag/dross, stuff on the down side came off easy enough with the hand grinder. Looks and feels like a well built machine..time will tell as I will use it daily. This unit was processed and shipped with blinding speed..way to go.. U.S.A.

FANTASTIC PLASMA CUTTER MAKE CUTTING METAL A BREEZE

Its been great on 10 gauge up to 1/4" at this point. I taught my son to use it and he did a extra credit project for school .He made a topographic map of Japan from 10 gauge he got a A+

I've used my oxy/acetylene torch to cut for years ! I don't think I will ever use it again.

Packed well, setup was easy. Within a few minutes of setting it up, I was cutting metal like a pro. My first project with it was a cant-hook for turning logs. Had to cut 1/2 inch mild steel and the Miller 625 wet through it like butter. Attached is a picture of the finished product.

This is my first plasma cutter, and a really nice one. Easy to set up and easy to use. Was up and running in less than 30 minutes. Also bought the Miller in-line dryer. It comes with everything needed to plug in the back of the unit. I have a nice air compressor set up in my shop, and all I had to do was set the regulator at 105 psi and plug it in. (Called for 90-120,.so I picked the middle). Everything worked just fine. At 240 volts I was cutting any piece of scrap metal I could clamp to the work bench. It's awesome. I also own a new Miller wire feed welder. I would never own anything but Miller now. they manufacture wonderful products.

I purchased this 625, it arrived in two days. The torch is light and controllable. The machine is extremely user friendly, I attached an air fitting to the back of it, plugged the right power source adapter on it and started cutting. Their where no real setup issues. The torch tips are the only variable to what your cutting besides the amperage dial setting. It came with a few extra tips and consumables, enough to keep you going for awhile. Note: if your going to try and use this machine for CNC, mine does not have the cat5 plug as shown with the straight torch model. Something to research. The machine cuts well in mild steel up to 1/2". I tried cutting some 1/2" aluminum plate with it using 220v, it looked like and abortion. Good machine, it's cutting width is about 1/16 to 3/32".

The dongle cords do not have a very god screw connection and it comes apart when you are plugging it in to either of them. The shoulder strap is directly over the on/off switch and every time you go to shut it off you have to move strap. I think Miller could do a better job of describing the amperage for cutting various thicknesses of metal. Its a lot more trial and error. Even with this feedback the machine performs extremely well and the cut is clean if the amps are adjusted properly. I think you should design and market a roll around stand for it. It is so small and convenient that you tend to trip on it and you need somewhere to put the leads.

This is the first plasma cutter I've owned. I don't know if I'll ever use an oxy-acet torch again! This was very easy to set up and to use. The quality of the cuts was impressive, especially for circular cuts. Also had a $250 mail-in rebate when I bought $250 worth of other accessories. Great deal.

Worked great right out of the box. Have cut out rabbit and squirrel targets for grandkids and their 22's. Cuts very well I just need to learn how to follow the lines that I draw...;0) I really like it. CyberWeld's handling of the entire sale was outstanding. Great service and shipping.
