Bought for use with my mig so I will not ruin my t94. No complaints. Works as you would expect. Much better lens / clarity and less weight than the Harbor freight unit it replaced.

This is my second Miller Welding Helmet - Black Classic VS Lens 251292, I have one at home and one at work. I like this one because it allows magnifier lenses to just slide right in. I am 53 and need the mag to see very precise TIG welds.

I feel satisfied with my Miller Classic hood and got it at a good price through Cyberweld. The hood does everything an ADF hood should and is comfortable. I compared several others in the under $200 dollar range and settled on Miller. It suits my needs for school and I didn't want to spend money on a more expnsive helmet knowing it is going to get banged up. Time will tell how well the sensors hold up, hopefully longer than my Lincoln fixed shade ADF. I have used a Miller Elite before and this helmet is comparable in quality and comfort. Cyberweld's shipping is fast and this is my second purchase from them.

The positive....at least they designed it to accept AAA batteries and the module removes from the front and not the inside. Very flimsy but what can you expect, its Miller.

I am a hobby welder. I use my welder for projects around the house, light auto body work, and for minor repairs on equipment around the house. After using this helmet the first time, I realized how much my previous helmet was hurting my ability to make good welds. The view is clear, the auto darkening instant and the ability to adjust the shade was awesome.

I purchased 4 more of these hoods to take to Nigeria to replace many that I've bought before that have worn out from heavy daily usage. I also bought 4 replacement head gear because that is what actually wears out eventually. We are building wheelchairs for polio survivors in a country with more polio than anywhere in the world--tens of thousands of children and adults who spend their lives crawling on the ground. In a shop with 65 employees (34 apprentices) we are running about 10 welding machines and building over 150 wheelchairs a month. These are actually tricycles made of bicycle parts that you pedal with your hands and the chain goes down to the front wheel. So far we have built and donated over 15,000 of these tricycles since we opened our shop in 2004. Almost all welders in NIgeria just use sunglasses so bringing auto-darkening welding hoods from the US is very unique and has saved a lot of eyes. We like Miller hoods!

Great helmet and very easy to use. The triple A battery option sold me after 2 helmets that had dead solar non replaceable batteries.

Went from cheap harbor freight helmet to this. Vision is clear, AAA batteries, and adjustable sensors. Other reviews mention the helmet not staying up. If you tighten the side knobs enough it will stay up just fine. Great helmet for a hobby welder like myself.

I use this helmet for MIG welding and arc welding - not professionally but pretty regularly around my garage on cars and other projects. This helmet works very well and at the $71 price I paid it is a good compromise. Adjustments inside the helmet easy to figure out and use. The flip down adjustment seems pretty weak for holding the shield up - minor complaint. If I welded all day, this would become a frustration. I searched online for recommendations "Top 10 Shields" and am happy having selected this one.

Great product

My son and I used this in a MIG welding class. As we took turns welding we were able to quickly change the helmet adjustments for our different head sizes. Allows good ventilation for perspiration. Self-darkening worked well out of the box for in-shop use. Its material is strong enough but not too heavy for sitting on your head.

If you want a good, simple, no-nonsense auto-darkening welding helmet this one fits the bill. I've used a few of the cheap ones and this, for a few bucks more, is worth far more than the difference in cost. Your eyes are worth it.

Bought this to replace a faulty auto darkening helmet from northern tool. There is no comparison between the two. This one was about $30 more but a MUCH BETTER product. It has a clearer view before the arc and during the arc plus it is lighter.

First of all, great service from Cyberweld. My new helmet showed up quickly and in perfect condition. Taking it out of the box, I fully expected to have to "pre-charge" it somehow, but was pleasantly surprised to find that it was rarin' to go. A quick trip to the shop to test its functionality and I was hooked. It works flawlessly, fits great, and the build quality is also good. I'd say you can't go wrong with this spark buster!
