Bhardy23 from Louisiana asks:
I'm looking to purchase a plasma cutter to us primarily in my shop, but also to put on my welding rig to do mobile jobs. I have plenty of power in my shop but my generator on my welding machine only outs out 13amps at 220v or 26amps at 110v. Would this machine work on my rig with reduced capacity? Or would it not work at all off my welding machine? The machine is a Lincoln sa250d. If this will not work any recommendations? I would rather a slightly larger machine that would work at diminished capacity than a smaller one that would work at 100% my output power. That way I could do more on shop power.
