Corbin from Waterloo, OR asks:
Okay, so just how thin can I successfully cut with this? I am going to be getting a cnc system in the next few months and I will be getting a plasma cutter for it. Typically I will be cutting items between 1/16" and 3/16" thick. But I wanted to get a machine that could cut up to 1" and have some muscle behind it as well, just for those out of the norm projects that sometimes happen. Would this machine be compromised for thinner material somehow? If I am typically going to be cutting stuff that thin, am I better off with a downscaled machine, or will this cover all bases okay? If this machine is to much for those smaller thicknesses, what machine would you reccomend that would do those cuts nicely but still give me as much extra power possible? Also does this machine come with a chart for what to set the machine at setting wise for different materials/thicknesses? Thanks for your time.
