This reference calculator is completely incorrect. Who designed this got their numbers completely way off.

I use this chart before welding and it's a great help.

I'm fairly new to the TIG game... err well, fairly new to the correct way of doing things now that I have my own machine instead of using one down the road. Anyways, this is a helpful little chart because I catch myself checking it for my setup and then saying Really? as I would have totally used the wrong range or setup. For starting out its great for setting a base line.

this is handy to keep around the tig welder since from time to time someone brings in a project made of something i don't normally work with.

I have reviewed this item and it has lots of info. I'am just starting to get into TIG so I have not been able to apply the info against actual in the field reality. I would like to update this review after having some actual experience.

I bought all the charts cyberweld offers so that every one sets their machine the same way. That way the weld continuity is the same through out the shop. Only works if welding machines are calibrated.
