I buy this line of helmet for the 4 arc sensor and wide lens. I do a lot of outdoor work the x-mode is very useful.

Got this hood for $251.00, when on Millerwelds it's selling for $351.00. I also got a $70.00 rebate through Cyberweld from Miller. So it's a no brainier, the hoods view is awesome and the clarity of all welding processes will positively get you certified. With this hood you will become a well rounded welder.

I had the Miller digital prior to this helmet and had great luck with it. This one I like even more. Still getting used to the new head gear, but otherwise love it.

I use this everyday is the most comfortable Hemet I have every used in 20 yrs. loads of settings for every situation I can create. very happy with the purchase. one draw back is that it seems to pulse when the weld bead is cooling with the delay set.

i've only used this helmet for two weeks. I like everything it has to offer. I tried the cut mode and grind mode but the pieces I work on require a lot more attention than I can do with the helmet. Big plus is that it came with a few replacement lenses and it's very comfortable to flip once you fine tune it.

I have tried JACKSON, 3M SPEEDGLASS and MILLER ELITE. The Miller is the best hands down but the new head gear is horrible and unusable. I had to use my headgear from the old model.

I'm A pipe welder I get in tight and hard places so a auto lens helps a lot,first off I get to work and have gravy Jack stand welds to make on carbon pipe,grab the hood and I swear it took forever to get the head gear adjusted and still couldn't get it exactly comfortable,the hood will not stay up unless you tighten the heck out off it which then the hood will flex, fired up clarity was okay but not what I was expecting from a "top line" welding hood, I had it stuck in dark mode after stopping welding a lot of times battery was okay I checked them, to much light enters the hood which makes it harder to see not what I was expecting and after using for 8 hrs I grab my old pipeliner hood and it was so better even having to flip hood down an up I'm staying with my old passive lens pipeliner I hope they will let me return this junk

This is a good helmet

Excellent; they improved the detent mechanism on the headgear so it stays up when pushed up when not welding. I have two of these now, and the older one never stays up.

I had borrowed one of these from a close friend and had to have one. I am not the best TIG welder but I was able to focus 100X better with this hood on. I would highly recommend.

My fiance got an old car to work on with his dad (73 cuda). The car needed/needs a TON of restoration work, and between the two of them only had one welding helmet to work with. My fiance is also attending paint and body school this fall, so I figured he could use the helmet. I wanted to get him one a bit more utd than the one they were using, and one that was just an overall nice helmet. So far they are both extremely impressed with it! They love the clarity, larger view, and auto-darkening features. When I bought this, it also came with leather-piece welding gloves, which his dad has fallen in love with. Absolute 10/10 stars, was the perfect gift and looks like it will last a good long time. From what I understand, Miller is a great name - and getting it at this price was awesome. Shipping was also free and very fast!

Used this shield for a couple hundred hours tig welding stainless and has performed flawlessly. Comes with extra inner and outer lenses and a helmet bag. The price was a little intimidating, but after using this shield, i found it to be worth every penny. The headband has two top bands instead of one. It took a little while to break in, but now is extremely comfortable. I have been using this in x-mode (fastest reaction time) which senses electro-magnetism, have not been flashed once during thousands of rapid repeated tack welds and 340 L.F. of weld. This item arrived quickly and in good condition, came with the sleeves which I didn't think I would use much, wrong, they are comfortable and work well. Adjustable weld, cut and grind lens shades, auto on, auto off, light weight, comfortable. what more could you ask for?

I've had difficulty with the helmet staying up when not welding. It just keeps dropping down even after tightening all the way. I've even replaced the head gear inside with no improvement.

This helmet is a great helmet. It is not too heavy, head gear will allow a fit like no other. I was surprised to find that is comes with several extra shield for the inside and outside of the helmet. I got the a free set of arc armor sleeves and which made the purchase that much easier. I would gladly recommend this helmet if you are in need of a replacement. It has great viewing window and delay settings.

great helmet but the headgear will not hold the hood up. had to change it out for an old model style which I hated because the new design was more comfortable

I bought this as a primary hood to use in multiple welding classes. It has done pretty well the last few weeks that I have been using it.

I used to be a professional welder 25 years ago (now a SW Engineer) and still had an old Jackson helmet. What a difference years and evolution in technology makes!! I can once again lay down some decent beads (the Miller cheaters also helped a lot).

A world of difference I can now see where I am welding and able to adjust for a perfect fit.

I've used many hemets in the last 15 years or so and this one is absolutely the most comfortable one yet. The viewing area is very large and the adjustments are easy to make.

Helmet works very well. Has plenty of adjustment and is comfortable to wear.

I like this helmet a lot. I had the Elite before this which is a nice helmet. This is a lil' bit nicer. I like the digital adjustments and the different modes.

Love the new head gear, lightweight, comfortable. The whole helmet just feels better on my head than my old Elite Pro. One thing I don't like: the way the faceplate clips in, it leaves external gaps where dust can get in and get on the lens. I have to take the faceplate off like every day and blow it off. It's still easier to remove the faceplate than it was on the old one, but it's a pain in the butt. I only had to remove the faceplate to change covers before. I recommend a gasket around the faceplate to fix this problem.
