Powerful compact welder
January 14, 2016
So far I've been enjoying the welder. With the flexibility of using 110 or 220 and it's lightweight makes it a great choice for what I want to use it for. I'm looking forward to a number of projects I have planned for it. And Cyberweld was great to work with!!
Pros
  • Lightweight, 110 or 220. can weld a wide range of thicknesses

Great choice of a welder
January 6, 2016
Receiving the item was very fast and the box it was in was damaged pretty bad but the packaging from miller on the inside was great and nothing was wrong with it so I was happy. Also the welder is great and works amazingly. I've bought cheap Chinese models before but nothing compares to blue and they have every little detail perfect and the machine is robust.
Pros
  • Great welder
  • Fast Shipping
  • Good price
Cons
  • Box was damaged in transit

Simple purchase process - So far so good
January 4, 2016
Before purchasing, I did my research on the Millermatic 211 welder and seems like Cyberweld had best price and good reviews. I had some general questions about what qualified for rebate and the staff were reachable and quickly answered my questions. Free shipping to PA was one day on the week before Christmas! Welder worked well out of the box. I am not that experienced in welding so the only thing that may have been helpful was a more thorough manual. Otherwise I am very pleased.
Pros
  • worked well right out of the box, set up in about 30 minutes.
Cons
  • None really, maybe would have liked a more thorough manual

January 1, 2016
Purchased an inexpensive imported welder to learn on and do some minor tack welding. Finally it was time to buy a real welding machine. Well buying the practice machine was a waste of time and money. I thought I was just a bad welder.. as it turns out it was the starter machine and not the welder at all. Using this Millermatic 211 is simply amazing. I am welding like a pro right out of the box. Buy your second machine first, save the money and put it towards a fabulous miller product. I highly recommend the 211 - Great service from Cyberweld.
Pros
  • Looks, quality of product. packaging, and it does what it promises and more.

Great tool, great value
January 1, 2016
When decision was made to purchase a mig welder for my son, a student who has taken an interest in welding as a career, my two factors were quality and "size". Miller is the number one rated machine according to all I spoke to working in the field. Concerned with not out growing the tool, I decided on the 211 as it was able to run with both 120 and 220. I was concerned that the 120 would not be adequate, but would "work in a pinch". First job was to fabricate a cart. Within 20 minutes the machine was set up and tuned in. Using a standard 20amp outlet, the welds and penetration were outstanding using 16g, 1" tube stock. The cart was completed and is of professional quality. Absolutely 100% satisfied that I made the right choice and to see my boy welding proficiently is priceless. His lesson was to always buy quality, something I have always taught him, and I am glad I did not falter. Will not be our last Miller purchase (look forward to a TIG) and Cyberweld will be my go to source. Thanks.
Pros
  • Ease of use, ease to switch plugs from 120 to 220, quality of tool in every aspect, reputation, price for the quality received.
Cons
  • None.

Awesome machine for the money.
January 1, 2016
Wonderful little machine. At the time of my purchase, Cyberweld included a free Miller auto dim helmet and free shipping, making this by far the best price/value. The machine runs like a top and so far, I have not managed maxed out the duty cycle: 110v, 5/16" plate, making a pass on each side, using c-25 gas (I have not tried 220v yet). The shielding gas gauges are decent quality, the feed rollers and drive operate very smoothly, Auto set feature works well. The only thing I still want from it, is a longer torch and ground clamp cable or longer power cord. I can only get about 12' away from my plug in, comfortably.
Pros
  • Quality
  • Auto-set
  • Ease of operation
  • Portability
Cons
  • Distance from power source. (Needs longer power cord or torch /ground cable)

I started out with a Northern Tool/Klutch mig welder a couple of years ago. Trust me when I tell you that this is an upgrade. Welds beautifully and the quality is fantastic.
Pros
  • Consistent mechanics and arc.
Cons
  • Seriously? It's a Miller. Expensive might be the only con but I'm learning that you get what you pay for.

One Happy Customer
December 31, 2015
I haven't had time to use this machine much since I received it but I did run a few beads to verify it works and it seems like it will make a nice addition to my shop. Seems like a very versatile machine, much lighter and more compact than the previous version. I am equally pleased with Cyberweld's service, I received my order two days after placing it. Machine arrived in excellent condition which I was concerned about after reading reviews about other welding supply companies. I will definitely order from Cyberweld again in the future.
Pros
  • Fast free shipping. Machine and bonus helmet arrived in two days. Very versatile machine. Much easier to carry versus the previous 211. Thank you Cyberweld!

December 30, 2015
This thing will make a hobbyist look like a pro! The autoset feature works flawlessly so far. I haven't had a chance to use my spoolmatic yet (mainly because I haven't purchased a tank of 100% Ar yet), but I can't wait to see what this thing will do for aluminum! Just buy it, you definitely won't regret it!
Pros
  • Easy to use, dual input voltage, autoset (that actually works!), spool gun compatibility, and it's blue!

Great Customer Service and Fantastic Welder
December 11, 2015
I ordered the Millermatic 211 on Monday evening and it arrived on my door step Thursday evening. I was not expecting it to arrive until Friday... Great job Cyberweld. I unpackaged the welder set it up and was welding in less than an hour. The auto set function is really nice, just select the thickness of the metal and selected the wire thickness .030 and I was all set to weld. The welder this replaces only had 220, so I am excited having the ability to weld with 110 or 220. Running on 11 is really handy if I need to do a project at a friends house and they don't have 220.
Pros
  • Cycberweld has great service
  • Welder runs on both 110 & 220
  • Fan only runs when welding
  • Welds 3/8 on single pass
  • It is easy to carry and transport
  • Amperage and duty cycle are greater than previous models
  • Can use both large and small spools of wire
  • Welds with both hard wire and flux core
Cons
  • None at this time.

Cyberweld's customer service
November 29, 2015
Cyberweld has great customer service. They take care of their customers. I highly recommend them to any one needing a welding machine or any other products. Thank you cyberweld. So far I really like my new Millermatic 211i. The new fan on demand feature is nice and the new angled drive housing is a great upgrade too. So far I've only done some welding on some 12 scrape plate to try out the machine, but it seemed to work great with .030 solid wire and c-25 gas.
Pros
  • Fan on demand. The two handles and weight make it easy to carry. Advance auto set for all three sizes of wire that I mostly use.

Took about half an hour to set up. Plugged it in and welds perfect right out of the box. Haven't tried on 220 volt yet but I'm sure it'll work just as good as 110 volt. Absolutely love this welder.

November 1, 2015
This welder by far is the best portable welder I've ever had. Works great on every setting. The auto set feature really helps out when trying to trouble shoot heat/speed. Cuts out all of the personal error and welds like a champ. Cyberweld customer care has my utmost respect for the large demand of customers and how they treat people. Bottom line, great customer care, great prices and good people, great products. Wouldn't deal with anyone else at this point.
Pros
  • It's a miller. Just get it already.
Cons
  • Absolutely none.

If you are new to welding, this machine will take the place of smaller machine but allow you to really grow!
October 25, 2015
This is a big step up from my Miller 135, which was not good for more than 1/8" material with solid wire and gas. On this machine, 1/4" is no sweat and I was able to lay nice looking beads on 1/2" scraps of plate (they didn't produce a HAZ on the back of the plate) which I thought was 3/8" until I saw the lack of HAZ and measured the plate. I just finished up welding some Corten steel with 0.035" Lincoln LA-75 wire..........around 1,000 pounds of material, and the machine ran great. I had to respool from a 33lb to an empty 8" and that kind of sucked and sometimes caused feeding issues but it got the job done and I didn't have to borrow my brother's Miller 252 and also had no desire to have the 252 over this machine. The fan sounds like a little jet engine and runs very fast when you warm the machine up, but it cools off quick and then is dead silent. The 252 has a slight hum when the fan is not running. The fan on my old machine was far more annoying and it always ran and got on my nerves even when wearing ear plugs. The power switch is on the back and that is a joke. The old 135 had the switch on the front, along with the 252. The wire stickout is too long after finishing a weld and AFAIK it can't be adjusted on this machine. Most of the material I welded was 3/16" and it was no challenge for this machine, on 240v. I did not try 120v power yet. The LA-75 and 75/25 gas ran with far less splatter than the Miller 252. I really didn't like that wire compared to ER70s-6 on the 252 but it is ok on this machine. The autoset worked well and is plenty hot for it's rated material. 1/8" setting was good for my tack welds and outside corners of mitered square tubing joints and 3/16" worked well for butt and filet joints on the 3/16" tube. The manual settings and the chart gave the same results as autoset. Most of my welds had to be ground for looks so I didn't even use manual mode and tweak the settings because it was so fast and easy to dial between settings for the thickness material and type of joint. I wish this model had digital displays and used IPM and volts so that the settings would work on any machine. With the lack of that feature there isn't a point to not using autoset if it works for you. If it had IPM and volts, you could learn and remember your settings and use that on other machines. The supplied gun is 10' and is the only option with the welder even though the drive is made for 15' guns. I bought the m-150 15' gun and have only used that one. It is the same size as the m-100 that came with the machine and the same size as the m10 on my old machine, but smaller than the gun on the Miller 252. The gun size is very nice for doing smaller jobs as it is easier to maneuver and less work to hold. The bigger guns would only have an advantage if you are running hot all the time. This machine is very easy to move and fits the bill for beginners and more advanced welders. I do hobby work and professional work as well and needed something that could take on 1/4" and 3/8" material, while still being portable on limited power and being suitable for thin materials. More is better when it comes to welders, as long as you have enough power to feed it and can move it as needed. My TIG welder is a Miller as well and is a great machine but weighs over 1,000 lbs and takes 104amps of input power. I can't feed it enough power to put out the 460 amps it is rated at and I can't move it without wrecking my back. The Dynasty series from Cyberweld would be a great upgrade. The old Miller 135 was just too limited and was much harder to carry or load into a truck than the 211 inverter. The 211 is a great balance of power, weight, capability, and price.
Pros
  • Light weight, powerful, decent price, fan on demand is priceless and it has a cool jet engine sound while it is running, spool gun option and 15' mig gun option, it will run 0.035" wire like it is candy, welds are very nice and smooth compared to the arc on other Miller's I used, it laid down great looking beads on scrap that was thicker than what it was rated for (1/2" plate) even though the penetration was not there, where my old Miller was rated for 1/8" but was pathetic at even trying a bead on 3/16" steel.
Cons
  • Controls not in IPM and volts, no digital display, power switch on back when other Miller models are on the front, wire stickout is too much after stopping an arc, it will not hold a 33lb spool and some wire only comes in that size or bigger, no option for 15' gun as a package instead of being forced into paying for a second gun when the price difference between a 10' and 15' gun is only 20 bucks.

Portable powerhouse
October 18, 2015
Right out of the box, this was a very easy to dial in and set up! Running 110v at the moment, flux core wire and I was off to the races! Welding .120 wall box tubing, running a nice bead just like I've been doing it for 20 years even though it's been 20 years since I touched one! By far the best bang for the buck MIG on the market! J.W. Goodliffe was a supplier to my father in law's shop for nearly 50 years. Highly recommended!
Pros
  • Light weight and versatile for home or small shop. Miller quality that will give years of service under heavy duty cycles.
Cons
  • None!
  • Don't waste your money on anything but the best!

Great Machine
October 9, 2015
One reviewer must have missed something. This Miller has no problem with solid or flux core wire. I've been running both on my machine. You only have to change the polarity within the machine. Takes 5 to 10 minutes...open side door remove two nuts, switch two cables, replace and tighten nuts. Blind man could do it. Welding supervisor for many years. This little portable is a breeze to use and transport.

This welder does everything I need and twice as fast as tig or stick
October 5, 2015
Easy to assemble and get up and running. Short time to adjust to welding style. Autoset works great but welding two round rods together because of the varying heights requires a bit of wire speed adjustment but after you find the right speed its a snap. Found that a spray available at welding shops eliminates the splatter sticking to the metal. Overall the machines lives up to Miller's claims. I have a Miller plasma cutter and 200 Dynasty tig welder and I can take on about any welding project.

October 2, 2015
Every review I've read and video I've watched has positive reviews of this welder. I'm 4 projects complete now with this and even did a mailbox repair for a neighbor. I'm loving this thing. Very portable. Easy to operate. Just wish I'd ordered better flux wire.
Pros
  • Can do light metal welding with 110v plug. Can weld 1/4" easily on 220v. Looks great. Easy to set up. Quite portable with nice carry handles.
Cons
  • Short leads and power plug.

Very pleased with the seller, less so with the machine quality control.
September 24, 2015
It was not clearly stated anywhere I looked that the auto-feed feature was not functional when using flux wire. Had I known that, I'd have bought a less expensive and less complicated welder. The other problem is the 220V plug. The welder comes with a 50 amp plug, so when I have my garage wired to use the welder I'll need a dedicated 50 amp outlet rather than being able to use a less expensive addition of a 30 amp outlet. Right now I'm running the welder from my home backup generator using an L14-30 to a NEMA 6-50R adapter. I do have worries about quality control though - see cons section. I was avoiding buying a Chinese welder, but it seems that Americans have bad days on the assembly line too.
Pros
  • Easy to load wire, once I fixed the side panel, and shimmed the base.
Cons
  • Welder side panel latch was not positioned correctly, so I had to pry open the door, and modify the cutout for the latch A minor issue but makes me worry a lot about quality control issues internally in the welder. And, it was a shame to have to use a Dremel on the brand new welder just so the access door would open and close properly. Also, the welder does not sit level. It appears the base is flexed by around one-quarter of an inch. Again, not a big deal by itself, but that's two quality control strikes right out of the box.
