Another quality miller product......as expected!!!
April 28, 2016
No regrets on this purchase. Sure, I'd love to have a more powerful machine but I lack a 240 outlet in my garage. Hello MVP plug!!!! I'm welding 1/8" steel with a regular 120v outlet, and this thing has the mojo to weld thicker stuff, Plus the portability and ability to weld anywhere there is a plug. To me this is a no brainer folks. I have seen other brands such as Eastwood that have their own version of an MVP plug but I have not seen this feature on their MIG welders, only on some of their TIG machines. Regardless, my first welder was a harbor freight MIG and that purchase taught me you get what you pay for, sure it worked but it lacked the adjust ability in settings and dependability I need. I use Miller welders at work and home so you can definitely say that i drink the "Blue Kool-aid". I used to be a "Red Kool-aid" guy (Lincoln) but the MVP plug changed that.
Pros
  • Portable and versatile, weld anywhere!!!!!!!!
Cons
  • This is going to sound ridiculous. No rubber feet on the bottom of the machine. A trip to the hardware store will solve this problem. I assume most people won't care about this con.

Inverter mm 211
April 24, 2016
I got this 211 the replace my old mm 185. Since I rarely weld anything over 3/16", thought this machine would be a better fit for me. I like the size and it seems to perform better on the 20ga I use for patch panels on my old car projects. Nice little machine.
Pros
  • Size and low current draw.

April 23, 2016
This was a good deal with the $100 Miller rebate. You get more power, inverter design, dual voltage, auto/ continuous adjust for a buck fifty more than the nearest Hobart model. Compared to the flux core battle I was in, this is a whole other world now with the Argon mix.

Great little welder
March 27, 2016
I bought the 211 to replace my mig welder that was 3 times the physical size. The arc from the inverter is much cleaner than my transformer machine. This little welder packs a lot of power.
Pros
  • Small, light and portable. Great arc.

March 19, 2016
Product is all it claims to be. Easy and accurate settings; so far I've welded 10ga and .250 wall tubing. I didn't have to deviate from the auto settings using .30 wire for both. Welded the 10ga on 120v and the .250 on 230v. CyberWeld service is great. I ordered the product on Wednesday afternoon and the welder was at my front door on Friday! They have won a repeat customer.
Pros
  • Easy and accurate auto settings.
  • Lightweight
  • Excellent quality
  • Lots of versatility without changing wire size
Cons

What an incredible little machine. This thing is amazingly small and lightweight but really packs a punch. Plenty of power for light to medium fabrication and has an arc that is second to none. So much smoother than my MM212's and 252. I love it!!

March 15, 2016
I've been using my new AS211 for about a month now and all I can say is wow. I can't believe all of the projects I've found around the house and farm that needed welding. The autoset feature is pretty cool. It's so easy to use I even taught my 21 year old to mig weld. The welder does seem to be on the hot side of the settings listed on the door panel (welds hot). I usually drop down a material thickness or two from the recommended setting. I haven't tried it yet, but the specs say you can weld up to 3/8" steel and I don't doubt that. In fact a good friend has the older model AS211 and welds up to 1/2" regularly in his FAB shop. Being an inverter machine, the welder is super light and easy to pack around. The 10 foot long M100 mig gun that comes with the welder is probably the only feature I think Miller could have improved on. I would much rather had a 15 foot gun and cable assembly (M-150 or M25). I will also be changing out the ground cable. Needs to be a bit more stout. By the way, these welders are bullet proof. The same buddy with the older model 211 dropped his 211 off of his pickup tailgate the other day. It hit on the left front corner and just bent the metal a tiny bit. I couldn't even tell where the welder had been damaged had my buddy not point it out. We fired the welder up and continues to run like a champ. I HIGHLY recommend the Autoset 211.
Pros
  • Autoset feature and the ability to manually set the welder if you want.
  • Inverter (super light)
  • Welds hot.
Cons
  • M-100 Mig gun. Just a bit short especially when working under cars or trailers.
  • Welds hot. Not a con. Just be aware and practice on some scrap before working on your projects.

March 13, 2016
I have been welding flux core for about 5 years for ornamental and trailer builds. This was the first time i have ever used MIG process and this machine made me look like a pro on my first bead. The features are great. The build is quality. Its an expensive machine (by my standards) but worth every cent. Cyberweld had everyone beat by at least the shipping cost if not $300 and I got my order in a few days.
Pros
  • Dual voltage is the way to go on this duty range.
  • Thermostat control fan makes is easy for me to stay within the duty cycle on bigger task, just wait for the fan to cut of if i feel im taxing it.
  • Both voltage and wfs controls are infinite not click setting.
  • Weighs about 15lbs less than a 100A welder i have.
  • All around quality machine that welds very well.
Cons
  • Only thing i could say against this setup is the ground clamp does seem uhh, cheap. No biggie! Inexpensive fix.

Great Welder right out of the box!
March 9, 2016
After getting a close up look at the machine I was very impressed with the detail to quality. Quality fit and finish of all the wire feed parts say something about whats inside. Once I had my .030 Hobart flux wire loaded and adjusted the voltage and metal thickness I was off and welding! Using the auto-set I never touched the wire feed speed! In less than an hour I had the base for my new welding cart together. The bonus Miller auto darkening helmet worked great and was comfortable to wear.
Pros
  • Easy to set up, lightweight, 120/240 plugs fit well, does exactly what the Miller advertisement says it will do!
Cons

March 7, 2016
I'm new to welding. This machine is really easy to use and set up. I like that the knobs are rheostat, so you can fine tune it to work with what your welding on. I was considering the Hobart 210 MVP, but it has selector dial for the voltage, so I'm glad I decided on the Miller. Couldn't be happier.

  • lightweight
  • quality parts
  • safety features

Very light and easy to set up and use. Fast shipping. I ordered on Wednesday and received it on Friday. I haven't used it much but I expect it to perform great and last along time like the miller welders I've used in the past.
Pros
  • Very light and simple to set up and use. Fully adjustable settings or auto set. Great reputation. All the shops I've worked for use miller.
Cons
  • The price. It's a lot more expensive than its competitors. But I think it was worth it.

I sold my MM250 for this and could not be more pleased. Takes up 1/3 the room and honestly produces much better results than the 250 on smaller gauge projects. Cyberweld had the best price out there.

February 21, 2016
I researched welders for quite sometime and found the 211 was best suited for my needs. Cyberweld was several hundred cheaper then any local welding stores. I ordered it and got it the next day!! Helps that cyberweld has a depot in mesa arizona! The machine is small and lightweight. I am running .035 wire on 220. It welds amazing! Haven't tried it on 110 yet. It is easy to setup and use. It comes with everything you need and fits perfect on harbor freights red 7 drawer side cabinet. I built a subframe on casters to hold the tool box and a full size bottle of gas. It also has a smooth and knurled roller which works great feeding with the lead twisted. The autoset feature works surprisingly well. I had heard the autoset feature was a joke but it can help a novice welder lay very good beads. Overall this machine is the best you can get for the money.
Pros
  • Its a miller! Everything on it is great

Works Great on 110volt
January 21, 2016
Worked great straight out of the box. Tried it on 220 first and it worked as expected. Dialing in the thickness of the metal gets you close and you can fine tune it from there. Changing it over to 110 volt took thirty seconds. To my surprise, it welded just as strong and clean on 3/16 thick steel and thinner. Didn't try it on anything thicker. It seems to have pause when you first strike an arc. Once I realized what it was doing I used it to my advantage and was able to start my weld hotter and penetrate better.
Pros
  • I like that you can plug it into a 110 outlet and weld as good and clean as a 220 volt welder on thinner metals. I have unlimited and 110 plugs and only two 220 outlets.
Cons
  • None at this time.

I have only had this welder for a couple of weeks now, but have put together a nice welding table with it. I am definitely a novice when it comes to welding but this welder has run flawless for me. January 15, 2016
For years I had a small "red" 110v setup. I always struggled to get good clean beads. I unboxed the 211, assembled everything, hooked it up to gas and decided just to try and run it on 110 since I hadn't grabbed a 220 extension cord when I ordered the welder. After grabbing some notched and prepped tubing scraps, I was immediately impressed with how clean the arc started. Autoset seemed to feed a touch too fast, but I'm sure that's how its set as it'd be preferable to not fast enough. Switching to manual control, I was able to quickly dial the wire speed in, and keep good stick-out for inside corner joints on notched 1.5" tube. The unit just works! As an aside, I was a little hesitant ordering this online as opposed to my LWS, but after asking, my LWS couldn't match the price, let alone throw in another helmet... Cyberweld did an awesome job answering questions by phone prior to my order to ensure the order would process/ship in time to qualify for the Miller rebate. Once I ordered online, there were a steady stream of updates on the processing/shipping of the order. Even though I ordered the week between Christmas and New Year, the welder still showed up within a couple of days. Very pleased with the service from Cyberweld.
Pros
  • Simple setup. Comes complete minus gas. Autoset can get you going if you don't have a clue. Clean arc start for running on 110v
Cons
  • Cost (but you get what you pay for)
