Miller 211
June 7, 2017
Easy setup, auto feature works well even with spool gun running .030 alum wire. This machine seems under rated. On 120 volts I could make 1/4" lap welds on aluminum. Can't wait to try 240 volts. And thicker wire
Pros
  • Lightweight. Can use anywhere

great welder
May 13, 2017
I have had a few welders and welded for many years. This new 211 is quite the welder. I can weld for longer periods of time without it getting hot and the new auto set on it works very well. Just set it at the thickness of steel to be welded and it gets done right. I was very surprised on how good it works. I was skeptical at first but well pleased after using it on a few jobs. Great welder. Very happy buyer.

Great little welding machine
May 2, 2017
The auto settings are a blessing for total welding beginners like me.
Pros
  • Lightweight, easy to start, needs only one pull to get it started.
Cons
  • A bit pricey I think. The ground clamp is kind of flimsy. The 3-prong 240 volt plug (NEMA 6-50R) that came with the welder didn't match the 4-prong 240 volt receptacle (NEMA L14-30R, twistlock) in my generator and no local store carries the adapter that fits. Had to google to check every electrical distributor online to find one that carries the right adapter.

Great little welder with plenty of punch for the larger jobs. Cyberweld was fantastic to do business with. Had to have the welder shipped to a neighbor's on account I was going to be out of town. Little bit of a headache because they held product until I confirmed the reason billing and shipping address was different. But very understandable. Would definitely purchase from Cyberweld in future.
Pros
  • Great customer service, great price.

Better than I had expected and I expected a lot.
April 16, 2017
Very capable machine. Keeps up with some of our commercial machines. Some areas seemed cheapened up a tad but over all satisfied. The auto weld feature is not for me, but I do see a use for it for beginners. Auto weld seems to stumble on strike while it gets its wire speed or amperage figured out.

Works fine, my AL welding needs practice, lots of practice. Blew a hole in side of my 18ga skiff, lucky was above the water line. I'm 4G SMAW certified so think practice will make.it happen.
Pros
  • Easy to move around, weighs less than my Miller WeldPack 100.

I bought this welder as a downsize space saver from my old copper coil Miller 250. I easily weld 1/4" plate with this thing. Inverter technology is amazing and this machine is on point and only 35lbs. Cyberweld shipped to my door in 2 days. Very happy
Pros
  • Machine runs so smooth. Can't go wrong with this welder.
Cons
  • Ground clamp is chincy but does the job fine.

Miller does it again
April 7, 2017
I have been using Miller welders for over 45 years and I have NEVER been disappointed with their quality and performance. This little unit, {Millermatic 211}, is state of the art for most small to medium applications. It is easy to set up and I am amazed by the power of this little unit. I would recommend this welder for the experienced as well as the novice welder. In the past, I loaded my portable welder with a chain hoist. Now, I can place it inside the cab of my Jeep.

Believe the hype.
April 4, 2017
I've been welding professionally for over 30 years. This machine is all they say it is and then some. It's Miller quality throughout and welds consistently in all situations and voltages. Granted the 110 level is used for field welding only in my case, however it still does the job necessary.
Pros
  • Lightweight machine, consistent welds, Miller Quality, AMERICAN MADE.
Cons
  • Cost. But, you get what you pay for. It's not overpriced, it's quality you're getting.

Very nice welder... Not used to invertor start vs transformer yet
April 3, 2017
The new Miller 211 inverter welder is very compact lightweight and works well well worth the money. However I'm still trying to get used to the cold start as I put it. To explain further I used to have a Miller 190 Transformer unit and it seemed as though it was easier to start my weld because it was fully powered up at all times. This new welder does not power up until you hit the trigger and make your first arc. This may just be something to get used to and not a flaw in the machine. Also I purchased a Miller cover for it and the cover that came already had a rip in the stitching as well as nothing being said in the description on the website that you cannot use the machine with the cover on the whole reason I bought the cover was to protect the machine from splatter when I'm welding and then when you get the cover it says you cannot use it with the cover on because the machine will overheat waste a $50 in my opinion they should have just made a cover that had the vents for the fans cut out of them a little misleading on the advertising if you were to ask me since nothing is said about that before you purchase it..
Pros
  • Lightweight, Miller quality welds great AFTER until setup is tweaked.
Cons
  • Inverter Style versus Transformer Style has a much more difficult first start of a weld. New size of welder cabinet is shorter but wider so it did not fit on my welding cart where my old Miller 190 was. Don't buy the Miller cover unless you plan on only having it covered when you're not using it as you cannot weld with the cover on because the vents for the fans are not cut out of the cover and nothing is said about this prior to purchasing it

Millermatic 211 from cyber Weld
March 26, 2017
This machine is amazing, I was a pro welder over 35 years ago burning steel 40 to 55 hours a week, I bought this welder to fix my trailers, cement mixers, compressors, and other things around the property. The auto on this welder is amazing just set it to the size of your wire in the thickness of your metal. It's that easy. And you can also fine tune it if you'd like. I like the portability of this welder that you can use a 120 V outlet or the 250 receptacle and it only weighs 37 pounds.
Pros
  • So far everything on this machine been great
Cons
  • none

March 19, 2017
This is the by far a great machine. Awesome at 110v up to 10ga (.135). Anything above you got to use 220v for good penetration and heat. That is where it is Impressive. Welding at 220v 3/8 mild steel is nice. Good heat. Haven't done continuous lengths of welding on high but perfect for the home/small shop kind of guy or gal. You cant go wrong. Look at the 5 star rating! BTW I have only welded with shielded gas. Not tested shielded wire yet.
Pros
  • light weight. portable. price.
Cons
  • might be a smidge small gauge of a ground wire and a little short. but this is not for manufacturing all day welding.

I've been going to school for welding for a little over a year and this machine welds smoother than the Miller's they have at my school. And for what I do (metal art) it works perfect. I've welded 22 gage steel and didn't burn through it. So yeah, I'm stoked on this buy and recommend it to any hobbyist.

March 10, 2017
I had originally purchased a H 210 and cancelled it at a local discount store since I had been charged and after three weeks had no welder. I then ordered a M 211 and got it in three days from this place. I even saved $ since I couldn't find any place that offered the 211 at a cheaper price. If it hadn't been for a youtube video I wouldn't have been so fortunate. Thanks

March 10, 2017
I purchased my miller 211 because of an upcoming auto remod project that was going to require significant welding. haven't started that yet so up till now I'm just practicing with various metals to gain some skills. From what i can witness the 211 is a great machine and I have nothing bad to say about the job it does for me. The quality appears to be of high caliber and I wish I would have bought one years ago.

Awsome little welder .....Go blue!
March 10, 2017
The Machine is a tough little bugger ...I bought it to teach my teenage sons how to weld, as I am a boilermaker out of Detroit and I have been welding all processes since 1992. So I thought teaching my sons some skills in fabrication and welding would be great as a fall back and a way to make an honest earning should they find themselves undecided on their future...so I bought a miller dynasty 200 some time ago and this millermatic 211 a month ago ....the millermatic 211 is the cats meow for beginners....easy settings , weld up to 3/8 in one single pass ...although I do not recommend trying this ....but my son accidentally pulled it off of a tall cart and it still works well. ....all in all great machine.......Go Blue!
Pros
  • Great mig welding machine
Cons
  • Should come with longer mig gun

March 10, 2017
I received this machine in perfect condition. Set up was simple and the instructions are adequate. The machine welds very nicely, runs solid and flux core very well. The auto set feature is simple and sweet but seems to run a little hot, but still getting a feel for the machine. Just remember to change the polarity when switching between solid wire and flux core. In my opinion it was a fantastic purchase and will suit my needs perfectly.
Pros
  • Duty cycle, autoset, weight.
Cons
  • The M-100 Gun included really should be an M-150 gun.

Buying a Miller welder online
March 10, 2017
Excellent welder at excellent price but... You have to get only the part advertised, no substitutions. I wanted the 150 amp gun and was willing to pay the extra but that option was not allowed by Miller. So... as long as the package is exactly what you want, life is good.
Cons
  • Couldn't get the configuration I wanted.

First, I'm more the hobby welder. I've been welding with a smaller red welder and it worked fine, just not enough power. I purchased this gorgeous blue baby taking advantage of the rebate. WOW, holy moly! This thing purrs, smooth, quiet, and tons of power.

This is light enough to take on job sites, love the ability to use 230v and 115v.. Haven't used the Auto-set as I like to set it myself.
Pros

Cons
  • The ground clamp is cheap so it would be wise to replace it on your dime..

Good Welder
January 25, 2017
I've been a certified welder since 1976 and I bought the 211 for home use. Running on 230v, the arc is much more stable in the mid, lower ranges and provides a nice stable arc/wire feed. In the higher/highest settings, definitely not as smooth but certainly adequate. Automatic settings seem good for most joint configurations/material thicknesses. BTW, I run C25.
Pros
  • Automatic settings will be very helpful to all experience levels. Wide range of capabilities.
Cons
  • Not as smooth/stable in higher settings.

still working it out
January 20, 2017
First the bad, The first thing I noticed was the main power switch is located in the back, honestly I would have bought a different machine had I known this. I assume this is due to cost cuts in omitting a main power relay or poor design or both. Whatever the reason is its a pain in the butt especially if the welder is on a cart or in my case "in" a cart stack of welder/plasma cutter ect. Second time I used the welder the trigger stuck wide open continually at the "wrong time" although there is no right time to have several feet of wire spitting out your gun throwing arc everywhere. I'm a glutton so I let this happen about 5 times before i finally tore apart the gun and sanded down the trigger where it was sticking on the body. The auto feed works ok on flat if you don't care how the beads look but for any real welding you need to dial in the wire speed. Don't even think about using autofeed for vertical or overhead. The good, This thing has a lot of power for a 38lb machine! The amp adjustment dial keeps turning after it gets to 10 so I'm pretty sure it goes to "11"!
Pros
  • lightweight.
  • more power than expected.
Cons
  • main power switch inconveniently located in the back.
  • trigger stuck, needed repair.

Pros
