Can't get much easier
April 18, 2022
I bought the Millermatic 211 to replace my old Miller 135. The 211 was easy to set up and a breeze to weld with. Just have to know the metal thickness and what size wire and you are ready to weld. The kit actually includes a gauge to measure metal thickness and a good quality helmet. Can't get much easier than that!

Excellent welding machine and excellent customer service!
April 7, 2021
The welding machine arrived on time several days ahead of what other competitors could provide. The only issue was the spool of wire was unwound. I called customer service and they immediately sent me a replacement spool.

Arrived quickly, everything was in the box, and the box was undamaged and in good shape
April 1, 2021
Checked everything in the shipping box. MIG and all accessories were included as advertised. The shipping box was in great shape, no holes, no rips, and everything in the box was well packed and in good shape. I will not be able to set this up and use the welder for several weeks, ....currently in the middle of house move. But the shipping time was exactly as promised, and all the equipment arrived in perfect condition. Looking forward to the setup and using the system.

Its been a while since my last purchase from Cyberweld but I'm happy to say that nothing has changed. The service is still outstanding and now the order tracking is a nice plus. In summary, I can't say enough good things about Cyberweld. Thanks again.

Very good machine
December 4, 2020
It's a smooth running machine with a great compromise between being compact and powerful. Auto set features is an excellent addition taking all the fiddling out of matching wire speed and power output. It would be nice if the duty cycle was a little better than 40% at 100% power output, but the features for the price makes up for taking a few breaks on the bigger projects.
Pros
  • Feature packed
  • Lightweight
  • Smooth operation
  • Versatile (dual voltage input, can weld with flux core, solid wire, and aluminum spool gun ready)
Cons
  • Only 40% duty cycle at full power output

Good machine bad peripherals
June 27, 2020
Machine was perfect. However, the ground clamp had no copper just plated steel. My 500 dollar esab stick welder had copper. Secondly, the MDX 100 mig gun had a nick on the half sphere that goes into the drive roller but still works. This was all packaged from the miller factory. I expected better from a 1400 dollar machine. This is no fault of Cyberwelds.
Pros
  • Great machine
Cons
  • Ground clamp and quality control

June 4, 2020
I'm really happy with my purchase. I debated between Miller, Hobart and Lincoln... but like many consumers, you rely on other people's reviews for the final decision. No buyers remorse from my end. Really don't use the Auto set feature, because I rather fine tune wire speed myself. The inverter makes it easy to weld on 110v power up to 14 gauge on a 20 amp breaker without any problems. Never owned Miller before, but it will be all I buy from now on.
Pros
  • Built in USA, 10 foot leads, all aluminum wire feed drive, powerful cooling fan, sturdy body with 3 lift handles.
Cons
  • Cheap ground clamp,

Very quick delivery, priced below local dealers price with some promos to boot! I'VE USED A lot of large welding equipment on commercial jobs and this smaller unit is great for any projects for my personal use in the garage! With 110 v. Or 220 for up 3/8 material is great!

I purchased the millermatic 211 because I needed to weld frame material. My 110v Hobart 140 was not offering enough penetration for a good weld. I could not believe the difference not only with thicker metals but better welds on body panels as well. Great easy to use welder. Worth the money for it's versatility.

211 MIG old vs new model
December 18, 2019
I own two Millermatic 211 machines (both purchased from Cyberweld during sales promo events). The first one is an older model I bought in November 2012 (still working great). The second machine is the latest generation mode purchased in November 2019. While the older model is an exceptional machine that welds perfectly, there are several noticeable improvements in the latest generation machine. Among them are: Size and weight...newer machine is smaller and lighter. Second, the new nozzle / gas handling technology seems like it works smarter and directs the gas to the weld site better. Third, auto setting the machine is slightly easier. Fourth, the new machine seems to be 'smarter' than the older machine in how it controls the weld start. Fifth, the new cache uses less electricity to accomplish the same quality weld. Overall, Miller seems to have improved a machine that was already an exceptional welder. I highly recommend this machine to anyone just starting out. There are a lot of off brand machines that can be had for less money, but not with the same cycle time, quality and reliability as the Miller 211.

Not worth it.
February 7, 2019
I've had this unit for a month or two now and used it on a few projects, I may have 4 hours of weld time on the machine. Last few times I've used it I've had nothing but issues. First off the gun trigger sticks down so when I got to terminate the weld the wire continues to come out and spray wire everywhere also in doing this I've burnt up 3 tips in the last hour of welding time. The other issue I've had is that the drive roller starts to whine and eventually stops or spins, I've done numerous things to try to solve the problem like lighten up the pressure on the spool, increase drive roll pressure, make sure my lead is not tangled and have a fresh tip in and nothing seems to help. The only real positive is the power is pretty good even on 1/2in it penetrates well. I was really hoping this would be a good unit because I've had bad luck with the similar sized Lincoln's in the past, guess I'll have to try yellow next...
Pros
  • Powerful
  • Easy to set up
  • Power plug
Cons
  • Drive system
  • Mig gun
  • No fine dial adjustment

Miller welder
October 26, 2018
This welder has a smooth arc with the settings for the novice, but if your a pro (or think your a pro like us here at the shop) if you fine tune the adjustments for the material and thickness it is probably one of the smoother welders a I have used, and we have a wide variety of different name brand machines.
Pros
  • Light weight
  • 110/220 option
  • ease of set up
Cons
  • short and lightweight ground cable
  • I'm worried a little about the way the plugs change out from 110/220. Seems vulnerable at the point of change

October 11, 2018
I actually purchased this for a friend for his 70th birthday. I have not used the machine but believe he is happy with it. Will do all he needs it to do. The ordering and purchase was real easy and the people on phone were really nice and helpful answering my questions. Shipping was fast and on time with no damage. As far as performance I cannot comment on that yet..

September 23, 2018
this is my 2nd welder. the Autoset feature makes most jobs quicker & trouble free. Have not needed to use the 110 volt option yet, but I will now be able to use this unit as a portable welder for small jobs. We live in a rural area so having the Miller name /reputation was important to me. We are just too far from any welding product dealers too be able to count on them for assistance.

Not what I expected
September 8, 2018
Only used on 110v so far. Need to change my 220v outlet from 4 lug. Handles 3/16" on 110v no problem. As I have read in other reviews and seen on video reviews, the Auto-set is a little hot. Welds much better with manual settings. Smooth Start is hard for me to get used to. Would give 5 stars if I had a way to turn off Smooth Start. Can't find a way in the manual or on website. Maybe not looking in right place.
Pros
  • Light and Portable.
  • Makes nice weld after dialed in.
  • Easy to set up.
  • Holds 12 lb. Wire roll.
Cons
  • SMOOTH START.
  • Ground clamp seems cheap for Miller product.

welding for dummies
June 3, 2018
Sorry to be crude with the headline, but in reality this welder makes it possible for anyone to weld great. Added the spoolmate 100 for some aluminum work I was tired of being over charged for. In the first two weeks I've nearly saved enough money to pay for the unit, especially given the GREAT deal at Cyberweld. This is the first I've ever even tried aluminum but extremely impressed. My son who is a professional welder, tried this unit and said he might even switch to aluminum if he had a machine like this. Word of advice, look up millerwelds on youtube and FOLLOW the set up instructions. It may seem like your wasting some wire during the set up, but well worth it in the end
Pros
  • Autoset, light weight, multi function in both use and power options
Cons
  • Only con I can think of, it wasn't available when I bought my first Miller 14 years ago

Had the welder for 2 weeks , it was easy to set up, I have did some repairs on my stump grinder and every thing went GREAT , repairing pins for the hydraulics and for the stump's teeth , haven't done anything with aluminum or any real major metal but the way it worked so fair am sure it will do the job , in all Honesty I probably bought a bigger machine then I have in my abilities . So I can grow from here, love it and the service of Cyber Weld , will b back

I got this Millermatic 211 Mig welder recently. I also have a Millermatic 252 that I have owned for a number of years. When it comes to welding steel in the 1/4 range, the welds the 211 puts out look just as good as what the 252 does. The only upgrade I made on the 211 was to replace the Mig gun with a Bernard Q150 gun that Cyberweld sells for less than $200.00 If you are looking for a compact Mig welder , don't let the small size of the 211 discourage you. It has a very stable arc, and will do the job on steel 3/8 and less.
Pros
  • Surprising powerful with stable arc.
Cons
  • Mig gun it comes with is a little flimsy for metal thicknesses above 3/16.
  • Go ahead and upgrade to the Bernard Q150 for less than $200 from
  • Cyberweld. It's comes with the Miller end is a direct plug in for the
  • 211 machine.

Miller quality as I expected
April 24, 2018
I've only used this machine twice since I bought it several weeks ago - once to test the parameters and the second time, in a field application. I wanted this machine as a supplement to my Bobcat 250 engine-driven welder without the extra cost of a suitcase welder. I'm using .035 dual shield flux core wire with C25 shielding gas, and so far, I've had no problems. It feeds smoothly and the welds look great. Because of the unique composition of dual shield flux core wire, the slag usually peels off on its own, or with the light tapping of a chipping hammer.
Pros
  • Easy setup
  • Spring-loaded drive wheel, making it easy to change wire diameter/wire type
  • Lightweight, yet powerful
Cons
  • Gas hose should be longer.
