I restore cars as a hobby and this welder has proven reliable and effective for that purpose. It MIGS body panels perfectly and Stick welds exhaust pipe easily. I haven't used the TIG function yet but I will. I did put in a 120V/30A outlet and made an appropriate pigtail for less than 50 bucks, small investment for peace of mind. I have had zero ARC out issues.

I've only ran hardwire and it performed great! Very happy with purchase.

We took the ESAB Fabricator 141i on its first job this week and we were very disappointed with its performance. We planned to use it to weld in some tie-backs to a small overhead crane. The material we were welding was 3/16 square tubing to 3/16 square tubing - both mild steel. We attempted to use 1/8" and 3/32" - 7018 rods as well as 3/32 -6011 rods and neither would hold an arc.

Nice machine with easy set up. It was recommended by welding instructor I know. It is all I need for my auto rebuilding hobby.

Three function welding is awesome
