The jacket is heavy and appears well made. I've used it once. What does that tell you? Don't have any idea of long-term use. Not an everyday welder. First impression is that I made a good choice in buying this jacket. Waiting to see how much I like it when Texas summer arrives.

It's just solid and well made. I'm looking forward to using it when I need the extra protection of leather and the warmth of a beefier layer.

Coat is a good fit and holds up well. I wear it all the time at work stick welding in all positions and in all weather conditions (rain, shine, and snow) and I hang it up at the end of the day and next day when its dry it still fits the same. Have had the coat for a year now and only thing I'm disappointed with is the buttons. They have been snapped together so strong to where 3 of mine have popped apart from the leather and stayed stuck together and there a bit exposed to splatter where it melts to them and barely snaps together.

I've had this jacket for several months now and it's standing up great. The quality is really nice and nothing has burned thru it or worn out yet. The snaps are strong, and the leather is good and heavy. Good protection for stick and flux core in all positions. The only thing I wish it had was an inside pocket instead of the outside one, but that's just my preference. The fit is spot on too. Overall very happy and this jacket should last me a long time. This was one of my first orders from Cyberweld. They shipped it out really fast and had the best price on it, so now I shop here first.

I bought this jacket for welding school and he did its job very well. The only problem I had with it is after six months the snaps, that hold the jacket together in the front started coming apart. Other than that, great jacket!

I purchased 6 Black Stallion denim welding shirts and have been using them for about 6 months. Im a welder for a heavy equipment implement company and run very long, high heat beads and the heat has eaten thru all my shirts on my left side because I hold the gun with my right hand. Wearing this welding jacket solved that problem. Yes it is hot but if you can't take the heat then welding is not for you! In the winter time it's awesome because it helps keep you warm. I just wish I had this jacket 6 shirts ago!
